To take a Dan Grade exam you must have a Dan Grading form signed by your instructor.
You should submit the completed form with passport photo and your license/grading book at the appropriate USKFI Pre-Dan Course. If you are retaking an exam you should bring the form from your previous grading.
Filling out the grading form:
- In the section for ‘KUGB licence number’, put N/A
- In the section for ‘parent club’, put your club name, followed by USKFI e.g. Lucan SKC, USKFI
- Complete the form carefully and clearly in BLOCK CAPTIALS
- For 2nd Dan and above remember to put in your chosen kata in the appropriate space
The fees for a Dan grading are be paid in Euro, and includes the course fee before the grading. Payment is made electronically to USKFI. Fees payable for each grade are:
