PLEASE READ ALL OF THE INFORMATION BELOW BEFORE REGISTERING
We will run a karate beginners course starting Monday 8th of September. Classes will run every Monday for 4 weeks. You can register your interest for the course below. REGISTRATION DOES NOT GUARANTEE YOU A PLACE ON THE COURSE, as they are allocated on a first come first served basis. We will notify successful students via email. Some important point to note:
- Children must be aged 7+
- The course will be held in the Adamstown Youth & Community Centre
- The course begins Monday September 8th at 18:00
- The course run on Mondays for 4 weeks
- Class will be 18:00 – 19:00
- Turn up for class 5-10 minutes before the class start time
- The fee is €7 “pay as you go” in cash
- A karate suit is not required – wear a t-shirt and tracksuit bottoms
- No jewellery should be worn
- Parents are not allowed in the hall
- Parents must be ready at 19:00 to collect their children
- Bring a bottle of water clearly labelled with the students name
We expect students to attend all 4 classes on the beginners course. When the course is complete:
- Students must continue to train regularly on Monday at 18:00.
- At some later point they will train twice a week – Monday and Wednesday at 18:00
- Students must take out membership with our governing body, the USKFI. Currently, the cost of membership is €60.
